If you live in Briar Forest, below are a few options if you lack an apartment gym to bring a private exercise trainer. The convenience of a nearby space to do strength training is desirable to my clients; especially if they decline to have an in-home personal trainer inside their residence. Luckily, Briar Forest has great parks to execute body weight training or calisthenics workouts. Any park PT is equipped to train clients outdoors as well and can accommodate private fitness sessions.
Arthur Storey Park - Parking off of the Beltway. Not as many pieces of equipment as others but has ample wildlife, a huge climbing structure, and a giant yin-yang platform to name a few features. Shaded, not crowded, with water and bathrooms.
Otherwise, easily turn a door frame in your home into a suspension training system for building muscle and strength for less than $50. An in-home fitness trainer can help “show you the ropes” HAH.
