Enjoy Your Workouts

I believe everyone has undiscovered enjoyment they can take from exercise. Of course, with my clients I am always concerned about training sessions being effective and efficient toward whatever weight loss or muscle building goal they have, but they aren't going to be with me forever, so I want them to develop a lifestyle of fitness in their unique brand of exercise. I want them to walk away from me knowing that there are more options and freedom in the way they move, but also that they understand the fundamentals of exercise. My clients gain a deeper comprehension of their body and how their daily activities contribute to both pain and performance. With me, it isn't a cheap group class to get-by; it's about custom skills for life - your life; I want to change the way someone looks at exercise forever.

Anyone can muster up a few months of slaving away at a routine. But typically, once decent results come, the motivation to endure subsides. I believe this is because 'enjoyability' was ignored when designing a workout program. To find something effective AND sustainable is the key. This is why my mobility training has become so popular a style for in-home personal trainers in Houston.

Sure, there's a small percentage of people that will derive zero enjoyment during any form of movement; for you I'll just make you laugh as we workout and remind you of the benefits of this delayed-gratification process. But for the rest of you, I guarantee there's some exploration to be done with how you like to build strength and how you do cardio. I'm going to help you get out of that little fitness-box of jogging and dumbbells/machines and slowly make your workouts your own.
